The day-long, invite-only think tank begins at 10 a.m. with a discussion on post-partisanship led by former California  governor Schwarzenegger, former GOP presidential nominee John McCain, former Florida governor Charlie Christ and other politicial figures

NBC4 Los Angeles reporter Conan Nolan will moderate the symposium’s second panel — a conversation about environment, energy and climate — between Bob Foster, the mayor of Long Beach, and Dr. R.K. Pachauri, chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The last event, moderated by Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith, features Schwarzenegger, Cameron, Meyer, Lionsgate co-chair Rob Friedman and Imagine Entertainment chairman Brian Grazer sharing experiences and opinions in a segment titled “The Power of People and Innovation – Media/Hollywood Leaders’ Perspectives.”

The symposium gives Schwarzenegger's Hollywood comeback some extra momentum. He appeared in "The Expendables 2" this summer and will star in "The Last Stand," a film about a small-time sheriff standing up to a drug cartel leader, early next year.
