CBS has given the green light to "A Gifted Man," a one-hour drama starring Patrick Wilson, TheWrap has confirmed.
In the series, formerly known as "Untitled Susannah Grant Project," Wilson will star as an ultra-competitive surgeon whose life is changed when his wife (Jennifer Ehle) dies and starts dispensing life lessons to him from the afterlife.
The pilot was written by Susannah Grant ("Erin Brockovich") and directed by Jonathan Demme, who are also serving as co-producers.
