CBS’s ‘The Job’ Pulled From Schedule After 2 Episodes

"The Job" drew a mere 0.7/2 in key demographic with second airing

"The Job" has been fired from CBS's broadcasting slate.

The reality series has been pulled from the network's schedule after just two episodes, an individual with knowledge of the decision told TheWrap on Monday.

The show, which was hosted by Lisa Ling, featured contestants participating in challenges in hopes of landing a dream job at their dream company.

However, the show's ratings bordered on the nightmarish. For its series premiere on Feb. 8, the show pulled a discouraging 0.9 rating/3 share in the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers, down 53 percent from the premiere of "Undercover Boss" in the Fridays at 8 p.m. timeslot earlier this season.

Its second episode aired even worse, drawing a 0.7/2.

"Undercover Boss" will air in place of "The Job" this week.
