Matthew Vaughn is recruiting a major star to join the cast of his “Kingsman” sequel, as Sir Elton John is in talks for a fun role alongside Taron Egerton in the spy movie, an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.

The “Tiny Dancer” singer would join Oscar winners Julianne Moore and Halle Berry as well as “Narcos” star Pedro Pascal in the sequel, which will also see Mark Strong return.

The production has also teased the notion that Oscar winner Colin Firth could reprise his role as the seemingly-dead Harry Hart.

Vaughn co-wrote the script with Jane Goldman and is producing under his Marv Films banner.

20th Century Fox will release “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” on June 16, 2017.
