UPDATED at 12 noon PT: George Zimmerman has relisted the gun used to kill Trayvon Martin on unitedgungroup.com at a starting bid of $5,000, according to TMZ.

PREVIOUSLY:

GunBroker.com appears to have canceled the auction in which George Zimmerman attempted to sell the .9-mm pistol that he used to kill unarmed teen Trayvon Martin in 2012.

The page that directed users to the auction now displays a message, “Sorry, but the item you have requested is no longer in the system.”

GunBroker.com did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

“I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon,” Zimmerman wrote in the description of the now-deleted auction.

He said he was planning to donate a portion of his profits to an anti-Black Lives Matter group and to “ensure the demise of Angela Correy’s persecution career and Hillary Clinton’s anti-firearm rhetoric.”

Zimmerman was acting as a volunteer neighborhood watchman when he shot and killed Martin on Feb. 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman claimed he acted in self-defense.

The death of the 17-year-old African American high school student sparked intense rallies across America and heightened the debate around Florida’s controversial Stand Your Ground Law. Zimmerman was controversially acquitted of both the murder and manslaughter charges in 2013.
