Iggy Azalea to Internet Haters: ‘Most of You Have Done NOTHING With Your Lives’

One artist’s success should not be an excuse to be awful to another, the rapper told her Twitter followers

Chart-topping Australian artist Iggy Azalea lashed out at “internet kids” who poke fun at her achievements from the safety of their own home, with a wordy Twitter rant on Sunday night.

“Just remember while your all at home online cracking jokes about artists etc that most of you have done NOTHING. NOTHING! With your lives,” Azalea tweeted. “Don’t flex someone else’s achievements. So many of you Internet kids quote the feats of others as if they were your own.”

Azalea, who recently joined The Beatles as the only two acts to hit the No. 1 and No. 2 spots simultaneously with their first two Billboard Hot 100 hits in the U.S., is best known for her song “Fancy.”

A quick scan of Twitter mentions reveals her image is regularly trashed, with her appearance being compared to the Shawn and Marlon Wayans in the movie “White Chicks,” while others take issue with her “appropriating black culture.”
