Look who’s joining the “Scream Queens” cast: Kirstie Alley.
The former star of “Cheers” and the “Look Who’s Talking” franchise is joining the cast for the sophomore season of Fox’s campy horror parody, executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
Alley will play a devious administrator at the C.U.R.E. Institute, a hospital where much of the upcoming season takes place.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts and Abigail Breslin are among the Season 1 regulars returning. In addition to Alley, others joining this season include the previously announced Taylor Lautner, John Stamos and James Earl.
Alley’s breakthrough role came in 1987 when she replaced Shelley Long on NBC’s comedy smash “Cheers.” She made her film debut in 1982 in “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.” In 1997, she starred with John Travolta in the talking baby comedy “Look Who’s Talking,” which spawned two sequels.
More recently, she starred in the critically acclaimed comedy “Fat Actress.”
