NBC Gives Series Order to ‘Office’ Alum Craig Robinson’s Comedy

“Mr. Robinson” gets a six-episode order from the network

NBC is back in business with Craig Robinson, a network representative told TheWrap.

It has given a six-episode series order to “Mr. Robinson.”

“The Office” alum will star as a journeyman musician who lands a job teaching music at a middle school. While teaching the kids everything from rock to the blues, he simultaneously learns how to put the school’s rules to the test.

Mark Cullen, Rob Cullen, Howard Klein and Mark Schulman will executive produce the show for Universal TV and 3 Arts Entertainment. “The Office” showrunner Greg Daniels was originally attached to the project, but has since departed.
