Ratings: CBS Wins Night With ‘Under the Dome,’ ‘Siberia’ Gets Cold Start

With viewership down in the holiday week, "Under the Dome" drops 15 percent but still dominates

On a Monday night when fewer watched television because of the holiday week, NBC's new reality show "Siberia" got off to a discouraging start, while "Under the Dome" slipped from last week's impressive premiere ratings but was still the top-rated show and delivered a win for CBS, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS was first place in both the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic with a 1.8/5 and in total viewers with 7.1 million. The network aired repeats aside from "Under the Dome" at 10 p.m. The Stephen King series dipped 15 percent from last week's premiere for a still-strong 2.8/8 — the night's highest performance in the demo — and drew 11.5 million total viewers, making it the most-watched program of the night.

ABC was second in ratings and total viewers with a 1.6/5 and 5.5 million. "The Bachelorette" at 8 was down 10 percent from last week for a 1.8/6, and took 6.3 million total viewers. The freshman drama "Mistresses" had a 1.1/3 and 3.8 million total viewers.

NBC took third place in the demo and total viewers with a 1.5/5 and 4.4 million. The season premiere of "American Ninja Warrior" at 9 was off 29 percent from last May's premiere with a 1.7/5 and had 4.9 million total viewers. The series premiere of "Siberia" at 10 took a 1.1/3 — a 35 percent drop from last August's premiere of "Stars Earn Stripes" — and had 3.2 million total viewers.

Univision was fourth in ratings and total viewers with a 1.4/4 and 3.5 million, while Telemundo was fifth in the demo and total viewers with a 0.7/2 and 1.6 million.

Fox drew sixth in ratings and total viewers with a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million. The network aired repeats aside from "The Goodwin Games" at 8:30. It had a 0.6/2 and 1.5 million total viewers.
