NFL Stars Richard Sherman, Doug Baldwin Mock League Media Policies at Faux Press Conference (Video)

Seattle Seahawks players rip the league they work in, calling its endorsement rules and player safety message “hypocritical”

Richard Sherman is at it again, and this time he brought a friend to the media circus that’s about to ensue.

The outspoken Seattle Seahawks cornerback is famous for two things: Being a world champion defensive back, and blowing up in a postgame interview last season with Erin Andrews. He’s also a world class loudmouth according to some, but his sense of humor is pretty undeniable in this latest on-camera effort, which surely is not generating guffaws from the National Football League offices.

Sherman and teammate Doug Baldwin are currently going viral with a video they made mocking the NFL and its strict media and corporate sponsorship policies during a fake press conference.

The comedy duo of Sherman and Baldwin — the latter represented by a Subway sandwich chain cardboard cutout of himself — covered topics from teammate Marshawn Lynch’s recent $100,000 fine for refusing to speak to the media, the league’s confusing alcohol polices, player safety stance, and more, calling it all “hypocritical” at several junctures during the short fake media event.
