“Sharknado 2: The Second One” will be the second one to hit theaters after a stunning TV debut.

The SyFy original movie will be presented by Fathom Events for one night only on Aug. 21 at 8 p.m. local time across the country. Fathom said that more than 400 theaters are participating.

“We anticipate the tidal wave of ‘Sharknado’ fans will hit local movie theaters once again this August as fans get their next chance to experience this phenomenon in the biggest way possible,” Fathom Events CEO John Rubey said.

The limited theatrical release for “Sharknado” was a success a year ago. Theaters not only quickly sold out of tickets, but added more screenings to meet the demand for the made-for-TV movie that premiered to nearly 1.4 million total viewers.
