'South Park' Missing Air Date for First Time Ever Due to Power Outage

Wednesday's “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers” will air next week instead

“South Park” is missing its first air date ever Wednesday. They simply didn't have the power — literally.

On Tuesday night, South Park Studios lost power. Animation, rendering, editing and sound computers were all down for hours. Due to the show's well-known last-minute approach to finalizing episodes, tonight's new show, Episode 1704 “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers” will not be done in time for air.

It is the 240th episode in the cartoon's history.

Co-creator Trey Parker said, “It sucks to miss an air date but after all these years of tempting fate by delivering the show last minute, I guess it was bound to happen.”

In its place, Comedy Central will air a Live-Tweeted presentation of “Scott Tenorman Must Die” at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The new episode will air next Wednesday, Oct. 23.

What total bull, if you didn't notice goth kids 3 is in the old south park format, it isn't the same as the rest of the season 17, that was clue 1 mat and tray left us, clue two is season 17 episode 5,, the Reason they missed their first ever deadline is simple,, they was made to change their Obama care episode, watch season 17 episode 5, it's a big clue, normally south park would just show Obama and do what they like,, what's going on with America Obama needs to GO.
