Taylor Swift, Lisa Kudrow Sing ‘Friends’ Classic ‘Smelly Cat’ on Stage (Video)

“You have to really feel the lyrics,” the sitcom star told the singer midway through the silly song

Everyone has friends, but Taylor Swift has ‘Friends.’

The singer made her last “1989” tour concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday night extra special by inviting Lisa Kudrow to the stage to play Central Perk favorite “Smelly Cat,” a delightfully silly song Kudrow’s character regularly played on the NBC sitcom.

“She’s only ever played in coffee houses before. She’s never played in a big venue like this,” Swift said to introduce the actress. “Please make her feel welcome. You guys, it’s Phoebe Buffay.”

While Kudrow let Swift join in on the fun, the current Emmy nominee stayed in character throughout the entire performance and even stopped her host midway to give some direction.

“You have to really feel the lyrics,” Kudrow instructed in classic Phoebe fashion.
