‘Today’ Gets Elizabeth Edwards’ First Post-John Interview

Her first appearance since separating from the former Democratic presidential candidate

Elizabeth Edwards is ready to talk.

Matt Lauer has scored the first interview with Edwards since she separated from her husband, former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards.

The show is set to air June 30 on the "Today" show.

Edwards wil discuss her 30-year marriage and the paperback release of her national bestselling book "Resilience," which contains an epilogue of updated developments in her life.

CNN's Larry King will interview her later that night on his "Larry King Live" show at 9 p.m. in her first primetime TV interview.
