Lifetime has greenlit a movie about singer Toni Braxton, the network announced Tuesday.

Based on her 2014 memoir, “Un-Break My Heart” is an authorized biopic chronicling the recording artist’s divorce, financial difficulties and struggles with her son’s autism.

Braxton will serve as executive producer and will appear in the film, which begins production later this year.

Braxton currently stars in the WE tv reality series “Braxton Family Values,” which follows the relationships, careers and personal lives of Braxton and her four sisters, Tamar, Towanda, Trina and Traci, along with family matriarch Miss E.

“Un-Break My Heart” will also be executive produced by Craig Baumgarten (“Twist of Faith”), Erik Kritzer (“The Runaround”) and Marcus Grant.

The script is by Susan McMartin (“Mom,” “Two and a Half Men”), and Link Entertainment is producing. Vondie Curtis-Hall (“Abducted: The Carlina White Story”) will direct.
