Weinstein Co.-Owned Radius-TWC Names Two New EVPs

Radius-TWC, the Weinstein Company's multi-platform distributor label, names Liza Burnett Fefferman head of publicity and Heath Shapiro head of distribution

Radius-TWC, the Weinstein Company's nascent video-on-demand label, announced on Monday two new executives to head its publicity and marketing and distribution wings.

The company named Liza Burnett Fefferman executive vice president of publicity and Heath Shapiro vice president of marketing and distribution.

The duo, who began their new jobs immediately, rounded out the New York-based executive team in advance of the label's first title "Bachelorette," slated to be released on demand Aug. 10 and in theaters Sept. 7.

"Liza and Heath bring a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of film distribution and are going to be invaluable additions to our one-of-a-kind film label," Radius-TWC's co-presidents Tom Quinn and Jason Janego said in a statement. "We can't imagine two better executives to lead our distribution efforts."

While both executives will head the company's public outreach, Fefferman will oversee public relations campaigns for both the label's films and its corporate communications. Shapiro will spearhead strategies for marketing and distributing the films across all platforms and screen sizes.

Fefferman previously spent five years as the senior vice president of publicity at Samuel Goldwyn Films and ATO Pictures, overseeing corporate communications and publicity campaigns for films including "2 Days in Paris" and "Elegy." She also served as executive vice president at Radius-TWC's parent company.

Before joining Radius-TWC, Shapiro served as vice president of national sales for Independent Distribution Partners, at which he worked on sales for hits including "Supersize Me," "The Squid and the Whale," and "Sarah Silverman."
