Adam Scott Is the Poster-Child for ‘A.C.O.D.’ in Trailer (Video)

The comedy — which also stars Amy Poehler and Jane Lynch — explores the least-parented generation, who are now Aduilt Children of Divorce

Fifty-four percent of people are A.C.O.D. — Adult Children of Divorce — quantifies the trailer of the film with the same name.

In the movie, Carter (Adam Scott) is stuck in the uncomfortable middle of his parents' divorce. When his younger brother (Clark Duke) gets engaged, the seemingly well-adjusted adult Carter has to reunite his nightmarish family and is dragged right back into his troubled childhood.

When Carter returns to the woman whom he thought was his therapist (Jane Lynch), he finds out that he was actually part of a study on divorced children and chronicled in a popular book.

The film also stars Amy Poehler, Jessica Alba, Catherine O'Hara and Richard Jenkins.

"A.C.O.D." hits theaters Oct. 4.
