Paramount Pictures dropped a new trailer for summer blockbuster “Baywatch” on Wednesday, and this one gives the best glimpse yet of the maturation of its IP. The movie version’s language alone clearly makes the big-screen adaptation of the lifeguard action-drama even less for the kids than David Hasselhoff’s beach-babe vehicle.
In the first 30 seconds of this teaser alone, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Mitch Buchanan brags to a sand artist about his “big d–k”; shortly thereafter, he calls Zac Efron’s Matt Brody a “p—y.”
Oh, and the whole thing opens with the still-occasional WWE Superstar shooting down a helicopter with a bazooka. Because, you know, lifeguarding.
Not to be outdone, Efron labels a female swimmer he’s trying to save “a d–k,” declares “Jason Bourne ain’t got sh– on me!” at another point, and even has liquid fat from a dead cadaver drip into his mouth during a particularly gross morgue scene.
Directed by Seth Gordon, “Baywatch” also stars Priyanka Chopra, Alexandra Daddario, Jon Bass, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera.
