“Flip or Flop” star Christina El Moussa appeared on “Good Morning America” Tuesday, granting Michael Strahan her first live TV interview since news of separation from husband Tarek broke.

The two are currently in the process of getting divorced, though they’re still in production together on the HGTV hit series. Not only are they co-workers on-air and off, they’re really giving this co-parenting thing a go, which is “going really good,” Christina said this morning.

“There’s a lot of false stories and a lot of hype, but in the end, we’re just normal, nice people who just want to be the best parents and co-workers that we can be,” she told the former New York Giants defensive end.

They also presumably want to be the best HGTV personalities they can be. Despite the highly publicized and salacious split, Tarek and Christina are still filming Season 7 of “Flip or Flop” several days per week.

“We look forward to continuing the show,” Christina told Kelly Ripa’s former co-host, somewhat ducking Strahan’s potential spinoff question.

In addition to the house-flipping television show, the El Moussas are continuing to do their real estate seminar together every few weeks. And Christina is writing a book, she said, presumably without her husband. Rut-roh on that last one.

But how weird must it be to work with your ex, especially as reports of cheating hang over their heads? Not too bad, actually per the mother-of-two.

“Tarek and I, we met at work. So we worked together before we ever started dating,” she said. “It’s our normal … we’ll always be working together.”

Watch the video above. The studio audience member in the red shirt, black suit and red & black tie sure seemed into the interview.
