Watch Jimmy Kimmel, Christoph Waltz Tussle at Siegfried and Roy Audition (Video)

Host and actor fight over who gets to play Roy

Christoph Waltz is best known for playing hated villains — and he’s tired of it. So on Thursday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the actor expressed his desperate desire to play the “good guy.”

In this clip form the show, Kimmel tells the audience that, interestingly enough, he ran into the “Legend of Tarzan” star at the auditions for a “Siegfried and Roy” biopic.

And the host then shared their audition tape with the audience.

The clip kicks off with both Kimmel and Waltz bickering over who gets to play the role of Roy.

Since the two magicians are originally German, Kimmel says it might be the perfect time to try on his German accent.

“Nazi magician?” asks the confused Austrian-German actor. The late show host clarifies that he’s doing a German accent.

“You’ve never heard a German accent?” says Kimmel.

“I’ve heard German accents,” Waltz sarcastically replies.

Then, when Kimmel’s continued antics get to be too much, Waltz comically storms off the set.
