Josh Holloway’s CBS Series ‘Intelligence’ Gets a New Premiere Date

Sci-fi drama will now debut Jan. 13

CBS will be giving its audiences some “Intelligence” a little earlier than expected.

The Josh Holloway series, which was originally slated to premiere Feb. 24 at 10 p.m., will now premiere Jan. 13 at 10 p.m., with a special premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m.

The series stars Holloway (“Lost”) as Gabriel, a high-tech intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain. With this implant, Gabriel is the first human ever to be connected directly into the global information grid. He can hack into any data center and access key intel in the fight to protect the United States from its enemies.

Marg Helgenberger, Michael Rady, John Billingsley and PJ Byrne also star in the series, which is executive produced by Tripp Vinson (“Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters”) and Barry Schindel (“Law & Order”).

CBS’s freshman drama “Hostages” will wrap its 15-episode season on Jan. 6.
