Rihanna Drops ‘B-tch Better Have My Money’ Preview Clip at BET Awards (Video)

The lesson here, don’t mess with RiRi’s cash flow

Ma’am, you’d better have Rihanna‘s money.

The Barbados-born pop star stopped by Sunday’s BET Awards to unveil a preview of her new music video for the single “Bitch Better Have My Money.” RiRi shared the first one-minute and 48-seconds of the upcoming mini-movie with the world, and now TheWrap is passing it along to you.

The clip, posted above, includes more setup than song. Only the opening bars are heard at all — and those come toward the end.

Instead, the video portion mostly focuses on a seemingly well-to-do woman heading out for the night with her toy breed Pomeranian dog. RiRi can then be seen dragging a massive trunk from her car to a fancy elevator, where the two’s fates collide. It does not appear to be a coincidence, however.

By the time the elevator doors open again, it’s just Rihanna holding the little dog. When the singer is seen dragging the trunk out, it’s clearly much heavier than it was moments earlier and a few floors higher — probably about 120 pounds heavier, to be exact.

Looks like that titular “Bitch” did not have Rihanna‘s money, after all.

Watch the preview video above. The full version is expected to drop via Vevo on Thursday.
