STX Entertainment has Rocky in their corner — the studio and the Golden Globe winner are teaming up for an untitled movie.
Sylvester Stallone surprised the crowd in Las Vegas CinemaCon 2016, appearing at STX’s studio presentation delivered by Motion Picture Chairman Adam Fogelson.
While Sly wouldn’t elaborate on title or plot details, he extolled the values of the 18-month-old company.
“I see the fantastic talents that are being drawn to this company, Matthew McConaughey, Gary Ross… so I’m looking forward to just delivering. And I’d like to say the best is yet to come.”
On Monday, STX also announced it would revive Barbra Streisand‘s imagining of the musical “Gypsy,” with Barry Levinson attached to direct.
