USA Network’s ambitious new 10-episode event drama series “Dig” will premiere on March 5.

From Tim Kring (“Heroes”) and Gideon Raff (“Homeland”), “Dig” stars “Harry Potter” and “Awake” star Jason Isaacs as Peter, an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a murder of a young American, uncovers a conspiracy 2,000 years in the making.

Isaacs stars on the thriller alongside Anne Heche, Lauren Ambrose, David Costabile, Richard E. Grant, Omar Metwally, Ori Pfeffer and Alison Sudol.

Previously set to debut in the fall, the series had to relocate from Jerusalem to Croatia last August due to the Gaza Strip conflict. The series was forced to go on a prolonged hiatus as violence increased in the region last year. The series also shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Created and executive produced by Kring and Raff, “Dig” is produced by Universal Cable Productions and was developed by Keshet, in association with Gail Berman (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) of The Jackal Group and Gene Stein (“Deception”). Keshet’s Avi Nir (“Homeland”), Alon Shtruzman and Karni Ziv also serve as executive producers.
