Poor Kiefer Sutherland; as Jack Bauer on “24,” there was no time. And now, in his fledgling music career, there’s not enough whiskey.

The actor/musician has unleashed his debut music video, “Not Enough Whiskey,” from his upcoming debut album, “Down in a Hole.”

This latest chapter in Sutherland’s rich relationship with alcohol finds the actor in a cowboy hat, meandering about as he delivers his gravel-toned tale of woe and an inadequate booze supply.

“Find a match, light a smoke, then it hits you, there’s no hope/Steady hands start to shake,” Sutherland sings, adding, “Not enough whiskey to make it all alright, it’s time to say goodnight.”

Sutherland, who will appear as a presenter at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, airing on CBS April 3, has said that the upcoming album “is the closest thing I’ve ever had to a journal or diary. All of these songs are pulled from my own personal experiences.”

“Not Enough Whiskey” will be available April 1 on iTunes. The actor/singer will also embark on a 32-date tour April 14.

In the meantime, feel free to knock one back while watching the video below.
