CBS Promotes Communications Execs Gonzales, Metrose

Execs have worked on “Hawaii Five-O”among other successes

CBS has promoted Phil Gonzales to senior vice president of communications at CBS Entertainment and Lauri Metrose to senior vice president of communications at CBS Television Studios, the network announced Monday.

"Phil and Lauri are best-in-class campaign strategists, communicators and PR advisors," said senior vice president of communications Chris Ender, to whom they both report.

Metrose has been vice president of communications at CBS Television Studios since 2005, overseeing consumer publicity, strategic business communications, promotions, talent and producer relations. Her campaign have included "NCIS," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Hawaii Five-O," and "Blue Bloods." She also spearheaded the Emmy campaign for "The Good Wife," which earned nine nominations including "outstanding drama series."

Gonzales oversees the network's publicity campaigns for primetime shows, specials, long-form, and late night and daytime programming.  He is also the media liaison in program development, casting and scheduling, and has overseen publicity for the "CSI" shows, "How I Met Your Mother," and "The Big Bang Theory," among others. He also  led the campaigns for the "Hawaii Five-O," "Mike & Molly," "Blue Bloods," "The Defenders," and "$#*! My Dad Says."
