Cornholio Returns on ‘Beavis and Butt-head’ — and You Should Watch

If you think no good can come from Butt-head brandishing a power drill, think again, because it leads to the reemergence of the Great Cornholio

If one of them can be called a leader, it's probably Butt-head who stirs up most of their mischief.

But in Thursday night's "Beavis and Butt-head," it's Beavis who takes center stage, as his rambling, super hyped-up, TP-loving alter ego the Great Cornholio returns.

The action in "Holy Cornholio" starts when Beavis has an action figure in his hand and Butt-head has a power drill in his. The two meet in a squirm-inducing scene that ends with the boys heading off to the emergency room.

Their visit coincides with the death of a cult leader, and when Beavis is given pills to help him deal with his injury, he downs the whole bottle, sparking Cornholio's return.

The cult members, hearing his Cornholio rants and seeing the marks on his hands, think he's speaking in tongues and bearing the mark of the stigmata, and begin proclaiming him as The Beloved, their new leader.

"Brother Butt-head" sees this as a way to woo women — despite frienemy Stewart's warning of "stranger danger" — and Beavis/Cornholio sees it as a way to procure more TP, so off they go in the cult members' van.

"Beavis and Butt-head" airs tonight at 10/9c on MTV.
