Paris Hilton Plots Her Return to Reality TV

Oxygen’s untitled docu-series will follow “Paris and three important women in her life, through all of their ups and downs”

Paris Hilton lept from the society gossip pages to  superstar status with her reality show, "The Simple Life," which ran for five seasons first on Fox, then and E!, starting in 2003.

On Friday morning, Oxygen announced that it will host the troubled heiress' return to TV with a new show.

Oxygen described "The Untitled Paris Hilton Project" as a "docu-series" that will follow "Paris and three important women in her life, through all of their ups and downs, loves gained and lost, marriages, kids, divorce and more, revealing this lively group of dynamic individuals."

Tabloid-fodder Hilton most recently pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges stemming from a Las Vegas drug-possession arrest.

In Hilton's first reality show, Nicole Richie was her "best friend." They had a falling out and Hilton searched for a new buddy in two seasons of MTV's "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" and a subsequent British spinoff version.

Hilton's new reality show "best friends" are Charlie Sheen's baby mama Brooke Mueller, ex-"Playboy" model Allison Rovaro and Allison Melnick, who is apparently "a major player in L.A.'s nightlife scene." We're sure they've all known each other forever and are very close.

Hilton's mom, Kathy, will also appear in the show, which will be executive produced by A. Smith & Co. founders Arthur Smith and Kent Weed along with Paris Hilton, Rick Hilton and Jamie Freed.
