Ratings: ‘Family Guy’ Repeat Beats out ‘Marriage Ref’ Season Premiere

Jerry Seinfeld’s reality series returns to a 20 percent dip compared to last season’s finale

"Family Guy" grabbed the top ratings spot on Sunday Night, while Jerry Seinfeld's reality show "The Marriage Ref" returned for a second season down 20 percent from its season finale last year, according to preliminary numbers.

Fox's repeat of "Family Guy" at 9 p.m. received a 1.9 rating/5 share in the adults 18-49 demographic, the evening's highest rank in the demo, and 3.7 million total viewers. "American Dad" followed at 9:30, tying for second place with a 1.6/4 in the demo and 3.1 million total viewers. The rest of the network's primetime roster also consisted of repeats from its stable of animated series.

NBC's "Marriage Ref" at 10 shared the number two slot with "American Dad," also drawing a 1.6/4 in the demo, along with 4.6 million total viewers, winning the time slot in the demo.

"Marriage Ref" was preceded at 8 with a two-hour "America's Got Talent" repeat, which took a 1.5/5 in the demo and 5.5 million total viewers. The network's night launched with "Dateline" at 7, which received a 0.8/3 in the demo and 3.6 million total viewers.

CBS started the night with "60 Minutes" at 7, which took a 0.8/3 in the demo and 6.9 million total viewers, followed by repeats. ABC ran repeats throughout the evening.
