Ratings: Univision Tops Demo With Youth Awards Show ‘Premios Juventud’

Still, CBS’ “Big Brother” was the top show of the night

Univision took Thursday in the key ratings demo with its youth awards show “Premios Juventud,” which featured 20 musical performances.

CBS was tops in viewers, as “Big Brother” was the best-rated individual show of the night.

Univision was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and third in viewers with an average of 4.1 million, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 1.3/5. CBS was first in viewers with 5.1 million; Fox was fourth with 3.8 million.

For CBS, in between reruns, “Big Brother” at 9 p.m. earned a night-high 2.1/8 and had 6 million viewers.

For Fox, “Hell’s Kitchen” at 8 received a 1.7/7 and 4.9 million viewers. At 9, “Gang Related” got a 0.9/3 — which was up 29 percent from last week — and 2.7 million viewers.

NBC was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fifth in viewers with 3.2 million. At 8, “Hollywood Game Night” had a 1.1/4 — up 22 percent from the prior week — and 3.9 million viewers. “Welcome to Sweden” at 9 got a 0.8/3 and 2.9 million viewers. “Working the Engels” at 9:30 received a 0.6/2 and 2.1 million viewers. “Last Comic Standing” at 10 landed a 1.1/4 and 3.3 million viewers.

ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and second in total viewers with 4.7 million. At 8, “Black Box” had a 0.6/3 and 3.7 million viewers. “Rookie Blue” at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 5.3 million viewers. “NY Med” at 10 received a 0.9/3 and 5.1 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers with 1.5 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1/0 and in total viewers with 479,000. It aired entirely reruns.
