Music artist and famed songwriter Linda Perry has been a fixture in the music industry since the early ’90s when she first served as guitarist and vocalist for the band “4 Non Blondes.” An Alt-rocker and all-around badass, Perry moved quickly from her position as powerhouse at the front of the stage, to a powerhouse behind the scenes. She has wrote hit songs for female superstars such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Gwen Stefani, and was even nominated for a Grammy for her uplifting ballad “Beautiful,” which she wrote for Aguilera in 2002.
Perry’s new series on VH1 marks the industry powerhouse’s return to public eye as she uses her decades of knowledge to mentor young artists as they navigate the cutthroat world of music.
