Adele Returns With New Music, Teases New Single ‘Easy on Me’ (Video)

Adele’s fourth album is finally coming!

After six years of being musically M.I.A., Adele has announced her new single, titled “Easy on Me.”

The singer-songwriter released a clip teasing her latest work on Tuesday morning, which reveals that the single will be released on Oct. 15. See that moody clip up top.

She gave fans a hint that something was brewing in early October, when she changed her Twitter background — which looks very similar to the blue backwash behind projections of the number 30 that subsequently popped up all over the world and brought fans to anticipate an album titled “30.” She then sparked even more of a frenzy when she tweeted for the first time since January.

Adele has not yet announced when her fourth album will be released, but that information should arrive sooner rather than later.

Adele’s past three albums, all titled relative to her age at the time of their release, have been numerals: “19,” “21,” and “25.” She broke out with single “Chasing Pavements” on her debut album, “19.” Since then, she has written and recorded hits like “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” “Set Fire to the Rain,” “Rumor Has It,” “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” and “Hello.”

Other projects include her single for 2012’s Bond movie “Skyfall” starring Daniel Craig, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
