Spolier alert: Do not read on if you do not want to be spoiled on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” Season 5.

If there’s any truth to what HBO’s “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams said about her character, Arya Stark, then expect the biggest collective side eye from fans for the show’s producers.

While promoting her upcoming drama “Cyber Bully,” Williams may have hinted toward an ending of her character’s brave journey on Season 5.

“We’re coming to the end now, so I don’t know what they’re going to do next year,” Williams told UK’s The Guardian. “It’s the end of Arya, as far as anyone knows.”

Over the last few weeks, HBO has released teaser trailers a reference to the bird her brother, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), has seen since Season 1. One clip included a montage of Arya’s moments as a voice declares, “I see a darkness in you.”

Maybe the end for Arya isn’t physical, but marks the end of her childhood. Book fans are privy to her adventures across the Narrow Sea. George R.R. Martin also included her in a preview excerpt from his long-awaited sixth installment in the series, “The Winds of Winter.”

Martin and showrunners wouldn’t just be answering to fans if she’s axed. Martin’s wife forbade her husband from killing Arya.

Season 5 will debut Sunday, April 5, 2015.
