In what Roday thinks is one of the coolest things ever, “we picked an episode from the first season of the show that had potential but maybe wasn't executed as well as it should have been, and we re-did it and souped it up and made it better.” The episode brings back “Psych” all-stars and fan favorites, revolving around actor Michael Weston. Can you guess which episode they're remaking?

Above, watch as Roday reveals details about Season 8's crazy episodes- including an episode that takes the cast back in time, as well as a zombie-filled horror episode.

“Psych” returns Wednesday at 9/8c on USA.

  • Psych Fan – since the beginnin

I loved “Cloudy with a chance of meatballs”. It was back when Sean's character was smart and funny and not as much of an incompetent goof as he is now

    • Sierra

It's called “Cloudy… With a Chance of Murder”, not “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs”. That is a children's book that was turned into 2 movies. Also, it's spelled “Shawn”. But otherwise, I totally agree with you. I think that his character has really regressed over the past few seasons.

    • Manny Hundal

yeah, but really that's been the trend since season 1. He started off as a slacker who pretended to be a psych to essentially a man child who has seizures once in a while. I still love him, and think he's funny, but I miss the old Shawn.

  • Psych fan

I disagree I felt like Shawn started immature and childish and over the years matured while retaining his childish humor but overall I think we can all agree Psych is flat out awesome
