The “Morning Joe” host slapped Quentin Tarantino for his lawsuit, telling him to “Let Gawker, be Gawker.”
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough was incredulous that Quentin Tarantino was suing Gawker for copyright infringement over its “promotion and dissemination” of his leaked Western screenplay, “The Hateful Eight.”
While reading the morning headlines, Scarborough scoffed at the Pulp Fiction director's complaint. Co-host Mika Brzezninski urged Scarborough to move to the next story, but Scarborough took time to take a shot at the litigious filmmaker.
“I don’t even understand that story,” Scarborough interjected quizzically. “Who’s going to sue Gawker?”
“Gawker’s going to do what Gawker’s going to do,” Willie Geist opined.
“Let Gawker be Gawker,” Scarborough exclaimed. “Leave Gawker alone!”
