‘Bachelor Pad’ Season 3 Will Include a Viewer in the Cast

Will new “Bachelor” couple Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson be among those looking for cash (and new love interests) in the summer 2012 season?

A third season of "Bachelor Pad" will air during summer 2012, ABC confirms to TheWrap. And for the first time, the show will include a "Bachelor" or "Bachelorette" fan among the cast who has not previously appeared on either show.

"Do you have the charm, wit and personality to find love or money on 'Bachelor Pad'? If so, apply now!" fans are told on the show's website. "Bachelor Pad" lineups for the show's first two seasons have consisted solely of former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" cast members.

The "Bachelor Pad" winning couple — who will have to endure a summer of living, "Big Brother"-style, in a house with at least a dozen "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alums — will snag a $250,000 prize.

Meanwhile, given the franchise's track record of making lasting love matches, it might not be a stretch to imagine "Bachelor" Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson, the woman he became engaged to on Monday's "Bachelor" season finale, could be free and ready to look for love (and money) by the time the "Bachelor Pad" premieres.
