Noriko Gee has been promoted to senior vice president, program planning & scheduling at CBS, the network said Wednesday.

Gee replaces Andy Kubitz, who moved to ABC as executive vice president of program planning and scheduling.
Gee had previously served as vice president, program planning & scheduling for the network, a position she had held since April 2010.
Gee will now be responsible for scheduling CBS's primetime series, specials and movies, reporting to CBS Primetime senior vice president Kelly Kahl. Gee will also oversee CBS's theatrical acquisitions, and continue to help with the planning of CBS sister network The CW's programming.
In her previous position, Gee played a key part in CBS's scheduling moves of "The Big Bang Theory" to Thursdays at 8 p.m., and of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" to Wednesdays at 10 p.m., which proved successful for the network.
Calling Gee "one of the best scheduling minds in our business," Kahl added, “From the placement of new series to key strategic moves of hit shows to grow nights, CBS has benefited greatly from her sharp programming acumen and instinctive analysis. We're excited to recognize her terrific work and expand her responsibilities in the company.”
Gee began her career with CBS in 2001 as an intern in the research department, moving to the scheduling department in 2003.
