New Entertainment Weekly editor Matt Bean has made another round of staffing changes.

Kristen Baldwin has been promoted to deputy editor, Bean announced Wednesday. She replaces Henry Goldblatt, who joined former EW editor Jess Cagle at People last month.

Baldwin has worked at EW for nearly 20 years, starting as an editorial assistant and most recently serving as executive editor of integrated content.  According to EW’s press release announcing the promotion, Baldwin will provide editorial oversight and work closely with the digital team to oversee cross-platform initiatives in addition to managing staffing, budgets and collaborations with the publishing side.

New-hire Danielle Nussbaum will also join EW’s editorial staff as senior west coast editor in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, Bean — who took over as EW editor when Jess Cagle was named of People magazine and EW’s editorial director — announced the layoffs of longtime movie critic Owen Gleiberman, music critic Nick Catucci and staff writer Annie Barrett. Film critic Lisa Schwarzbaum and TV critic Ken Tucker left EW in 2013.
