Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and the rest of the eventual Democratic field will square off six times during the primary season, the Democratic National Committee announced Tuesday.
Debates will be held in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina. The other two locations haven’t yet been determined, CNN reported.
“Our debate schedule will not only give Democratic voters multiple opportunities to size up the candidates for the nomination side-by-side, but will give all Americans a chance to see a unified Democratic vision of economic opportunity and progress — no matter whom our nominee may be,” DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said.
Debates will kick off in the fall. Hillary Clinton responded to the news on Twitter:
While GOP debates the same failed policies, Democrats will debate how to help families get ahead. Looking forward to a real conversation. -H
