Allegiances will be broken in the season finale of “Into the Badlands.”
In an exclusive clip of the episode obtained by TheWrap, Quinn (Marton Csokas) invites Sunny (Daniel Wu) into the chapel at The Fort to talk.
Quinn recalls when he first saw Sunny in this very room years earlier, listening to every word Quinn said with rapt attention. Just then, several clippers file in and surround Sunny as Quinn informs him that there is a traitor inside the walls.
Quinn strips Sunny of his rank and demands that he turn over his sword. Sunny draws the sword and puts it to Quinn’s throat.
“You gonna cut me down, Sunny?” Quinn says. “And then what? Fight your way through your own men in some vain bid for freedom?” With that, Sunny surrenders without a fight.
The season finale of “Into the Badlands” will air on AMC on Dec. 20 at 10 p.m./9c.
