“Captain America: Civil War” directors Joe and Anthony Russo have joined Michael B. Jordan on MGM’s planned remake of the classic heist movie “The Thomas Crown Affair,” TheWrap has learned.

The Russo brothers will serve as producers on the film. The project has no writer or director attached yet for what will be the third adaptation of the 1968 thriller starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, directed by Norman Jewison.

In February, TheWrap reported that Jordan joined the cast of the remake. MGM previously remade the movie in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo in the lead roles.

The 1999 remake grossed $124 million worldwide, and received mostly positive reviews from critics.

The 1968 original has a 79 percent approval rating from critics counted on Rotten Tomatoes, while the Brosnan version scored a 70 percent rating.
