On Wednesday morning, after initial reports of the incident came in around 10 a.m. PT, the campus was put on lockdown due to fears that the shooter might still be at large.

There was no information on the shooter, and it was unclear if the deceased were students.

“It’s certainly possible that one of the victims is the shooter,” UCLA campus police Chief James Harren told reporters at the scene. He had no further information on the two dead. He added that police would take the shooter into custody “if there is an outstanding suspect.”

Earlier, TheWrap captured video from the scene as events unfolded. Watch that below.
