Anyone in the mood for some serious ’90s nostalgia may want to consider crowdfunding a documentary about Chumbawamba, the one-hit wonder group behind “Tubthumping.”

“Chumbawamba, the anarchists-turned international pop stars, will be reunited in a feature length documentary revealing for the first time the hilarious and surprising story behind their meteoric rise to fame, their infamous John Prescott moment at the Brits in ’98 and a legacy reduced to a dancing gorilla sold by Walmart,” the description for singer Dunstan Bruce’s Kickstarter campaign reads.

The film will explore the band’s years together before hitting it big, during which they played tiny shows across England, eventually making it all the way to Madison Square Garden. “A personal exploration of what happens when a political pop band accidentally have a worldwide smash hit and given their ’15 minutes of fame’ what they attempted to achieve,” the description reads.

The band’s most famous song, “Tubthumping” — known for it’s chorus, “I get knocked down, but I get up again” — was a smash hit upon its 1997 release. The song flew up the charts in the UK, US, Australia, and Canada, becoming one of the most ubiquitous songs of the time period.

Bruce is attempting to raise just under $63,000 for the project. At the time of this publishing, he has raised over $10,000 with 28 days left in the campaign.
