The first “John Wick 2” teaser trailer doesn’t show much, but we get a glimpse of Keanu Reeves preparing for one hell of a party.
Plot details for the film are being kept under wraps, but we do know that Wick will travel to Rome in the sequel, and that it will explore the system of hotels that cater to assassins that we saw briefly in the first film. The full trailer for the film will drop on Saturday as part of the movie’s panel at New York Comic Con.
Bridget Moynahan, Thomas Sadoski, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and John Leguizamo will reprise their roles from the first film. Newcomers this go-round include Common, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, and Peter Stormare.
Chad Stahelski is directing the film solo, after his partner David Leitch exited the project to prep the Charlize Theron film “The Coldest City.” Derek Kolstad wrote the screenplay. Robert Bernacchi, Kevin Scott Frakes, Vishal Rungta, Jeff G. Waxman, Stahelski and Leitch are serving as executive producers. Basil Iwanyk is producing.
“John Wick 2” will hit theaters on Feb. 10.
