USA Network is continuing its marketing push behind its syndication of ABC’s “Modern Family” by placing pop up photo studios in malls during the upcoming holiday season. They will visit Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago. Exact locations and dates are to be determined.
Stocked with cardboard cutouts of the comedy’s characters and various props from the series, the studios will help fans create the ultimate “Modern Family” holiday card. Plus, the photos can be made into animated GIFs and shared with friends via email, text, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and on the MOFY Nation Facebook Page.

“When we acquired the cable rights to ‘Modern Family,’ we knew we wanted to create unique, personalized experiences that would bring the show’s humor and heart to life for fans,” said USA’s marketing and digital executive vice president, Alexandra Shapiro.
“The USA ‘Modern Family’ Pop-Up Photo Studio is an example of how we’re capturing the fun, family-friendly spirit of the series and engaging MOFYs in their own world this holiday season.”
This is the latest marketing initiative around “Modern Family,” which included a fan appreciation event in Los Angeles where the show’s stars did a live table read for the more than 1300 fans in attendance.
