Universal Studios has bought a comedy pitch from director Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow -- the team that brought Universal the $107 million blockbuster "Bridesmaids," TheWrap has confirmed.
Feig is to write and direct the movie.
The studio won't say what the movie is about.
Deadline first reported the news.
"Bridesmaids" was made for an estimated $32.5 million and is one of the biggest comedies of the year.
Feig and Apatow have a relationship dating back to the NBC show "Freaks and Geeks."
