Nikki didn’t travel all the way from the Philippines to sleep in the room next-door to Mark, her fiancé who happens to be 39 years older she is.
There’s just one problem, Mark’s house is still littered with photos of his ex-wife, making his new bride-to-be quite uncomfortable, as seen in the TheWrap’s exclusive video.
On the latest episode of TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé,” 19-year-old Nikki arrives at 58-year-old Mark’s house in Baltimore, Maryland, where she’ll be staying. The couple, who met through an online dating site, certainly has challenges to face.
For instance, Mark’s four children from his previous marriage are all older than Nikki, and they’re concerned that she is young enough to be his granddaughter. Plus, Nikki thinks she might want children in the future, but he firmly does not want to be a father again.
“When I look at the pictures and he starts talking about his ex-wife, it makes me feel sad,” Nikki says of her future husband, who justifies it by saying: “I have children here, so there’s pictures of their mother in the house.”
Earlier, the young transplant describes having sex with the much older man as “very beautiful … it’s always perfect.” So at least there’s that.
“90 Day Fiance” airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
