ABBA, The Stooges, Genesis Join the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Jimmy Cliff and the Hollies will also be honored at the March induction ceremony

The Phil Collins-fronted prog-to-pop rockers Genesis, Swedish superstars ABBA, and Iggy Pop’s lust-for-lifers the Stooges lead the pack in this upcoming year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. Reggae great Jimmy Cliff and ’60s Brit-rock pioneers the Hollies will also be honored.

Each band (including the seven-times-rejected Stooges) is scheduled to perform at the ceremony, which takes place March 15, 2010 in New York City and will air live on Fuse.
