ABC will continue its history of rockin’ out and ringing in the New Year with Dick Clark Productions under a new broadcast agreement.

ABC and Dick Clark Productions have extended their broadcast agreements for the “American Music Awards” for nine years; and “Dick Clark‘s New Year’s Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest” for 10 years.

Ryan Seacrest is clearly part of the deal — and not just because he’s in the title of the New Years Eve special. Seacrest extended his deal to continue as host and executive producer of the special through 2017.
