There is no better “America’s Got Talent” moment than when a nice, humble kid surprises with some amazing chops — that’s pretty much what the series is built on. And Tuesday contestant Christian Guardino did not disappoint the NBC judges or studio audience with his rendition of the Jackson 5’s “Who’s Lovin’ You.”
The 16-year-old started off as a bundle of nerves, before Simon Cowell (of all people) walked him through it. Once the music hit, Guardino had absolutely no issues, and the room was blown away.
When all was said and done, Guardino earned the Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel. Wish: granted.
We have a feeling Guardino will go back to high school this fall with a bunch of new friends.
But for now, it’s on to Hollywood.
